Question

Has anyone fitted MY01 calipers and discs to a MY98 or pre MY01 car????

Is this possible ????
Is it a straight fit or do I require certain brackets etc ???

I have the offer to purchase a set but need to know if they will fit onto my MY98 with 17" wheels.

Cheers

Nea

Nea,

Not sure about fitting them but the MY01 front calipers are the same 4 pots fitted to UK MY99/00. The rears are the same 2 pots as those fitted to STI V/VI (not P1). So no reason they won't fit, BUT I have heard some wheels (inc some 17") will not clear the 4 pot caliper so be careful to check first.

I have been informed that the fitment is exactly the same.
The only problem would be if you putnew STI brembos on and would need a larger offsett wheel.

Thumbs up

I have MY01 17" wheels fitted to my MY98 so the clearance should be ok.

Cheers for your help guys
