Default Any tyre experts? Help required.

I have some Oz Ultraleggera 18's fitted to my Hawkeye scoob and have been suffering some tyre problems, Can someone please tell me the correct size and profile that should be fitted to these wheels? Cast on the wheel is 8J x 18 H2.

Thanks in advance.

235 x 40 give the nearest outside diameter of standard 17" tyre.

It's fitted with 225x45x18 at the moment, I need the tracking done as it's worn the outsides of the tyres. Someone made the comment that the tyres that ae fitted were the wrong size. Rather than say on here this is what i have on are these correct? and then 20 different replys come back i thought i'd just ask what should be on that rim.

Many thanks for you help though

It's more about picking a rolling radius that matches as closely to the standard wheel/tyre combination as possible.

Mine on 235/35/19's is 1 mph fast at 100 mph (Elvington !)

On standard wheels/tyres it's 4 mph fast at 30 mph ! !

Using Sat Nav.
