Help me with brakes!!!!
Right - Im not too clued up on brakes. If i were to get brembo or AP disks and calipers would I be able to fit any make of pad to them or just brembo or AP (for example)? Could i fit pagid pads on my OEM calipers or to brembos etc?
How much are you looking at to buy braided hoses and what difference do they make?
Cheers for any help.

I THINK you can get aftermarket pads for almost any caliper tbh, although most on here don't rate Pagid that highly
As for braided hoses, they give a firmer pedal feel, and price is around £20-£30 if you fit them yourself

I take it the winky smiley means that was a joke? Pagids are far and away the best brake pads I've ever used. Work from cold, haven't faded them yet, don't squeal (too much), excellent modulation (you can feel when they're about to lock and back off a smidge). Only reason not to like them is the price but for brakes I don't mind spending a bit extra.
As said you can get a huge range of pads to fit AP brakes. Some of the scabby rip off copies exploit this by designing their brakes to use the AP pad shape and size so they can use the same range of pads.
I know you can get pagids for brembos as I've used these in the past, not sure about pagids for the OEM 4 pots, give Performance Brakes in Monmouth a ring they'll know, 01600 713117.
