Default Spare Wheel Cover

Was in my boot today and took the boot mat out, as its wet from a leak.

I thought I would check the spare tyre, and lifted the thin brown piece of card/wood cover, and there was a 'tool' attached to the cover. Whats this for?

You use it to raise, or lower, the standard jack that's in a slot/pocket on the n/s of the boot.

You haven't been studying your manual, have you?

Before you ask: operating the switch on top of the steering column before removing ignition key puts the sidelights on when the key is out of the ignition, and there is a small lever beside the bootlock inside the boot, operation of which stops the remote boot release working

Now you know
