brembo piston seals
when changing my front pads one of the brembo pistons was a real bugger to push back, took the lid off the fluid resivoir and it eventually moved back.
only problem is the rubber seal is detached from the caliper,
is this going to be a problem?, how can it be fixed?

Hi
If the piston is a bit sticky it could be road muck that has got in there because the seal is out , I would recomend takng the pad out where the sticky piston is , and with someone sitting in the car with you watching , get them to push the brake pedal carefully so the piston comes out about 15 mm , and take the rubber boot off and clean the piston and calipers with either WD40 or brake cleaner to get rid of any muck , put the rubber boot back on the piston , spray a little WD40 on and push the piston back in , it shouldn't be too difficult to push in , then push the seal back into the caliper , they are only a push fit in .
Cheers Ian
