Brembos or Alcons
Right ive been looking at brakes for a gd while now and ive got two possible routes to taken for my 99 rb5,
1. Ive been offered prodrive alcons for £450 with disks and pads in gd condition
2. Also been offered front and rear brembos of 2003 (gold) with pads and disks. £500.
for the brembos i will also need 5mm spacers and fitting kit for rear brembos which all adds up to £250.
just wanting some info on what u folks think,

Had brembos and now have K sport 8 pots onmy classic.
The brembo's on a classic are pretty good, but you need a decent pad and not the standard OEM rubbish. I was using Mintex 1155 and found these to be really good but squeeled alot.
Alcon are a very good set up but replacement discs cost about double that of brembo's but they do fit under alot more wheels
I'd go for the alcons given the choice. A little rarer
