Can anyone suggest an alternative tyre size to the 205/45 17 on
Speedline alloys I'm currently running as the choice is very
limited and I would like to replace all four in the near future.
Any suggestions would be very much appreciated particularly if
adjustments would be needed to accommodate same.
Mouser.

Try this...

I've got 17s with 215/40/17 tyres.

Warrtster,
Wow,that was a quick reply!
I'll probably go with what you are running.
Many thanks,

No worries!

Just thought I'd add that there are a greater choice of tyres in that size against PZero and Dunlop in 205 45 17. You can have Toyo, Goodyear Eagle etc. I got 4 Goodyear Eagle F1 GS-D2 for 340 quid fitted

On standard suspension on a UK car they may rub slightly on the rear arch protectors but they are easily removed if it does happen and Jap cars don't have them anyway so doesn't seem like they are overly needed!!

Cheers
Neil.

Cool

I'm thinking of going the same route (215/45/17) on my MY00 - has anyone else had problems with clearance?? (maybe it depends on the wheel offset)

Anyone know where I can get a set of the 17" 2001 WRX alloys for a reasonable price??
Cheers
