Default 2.3 front/1.9 back

These are recommended pressures for MY06 STI (RE070 standard).
This is a difference of 6psi front to back.
Seems a lot to me, anybody out there have any comments on this?

Fronts have to steer and put down the power, so take more hammer, mine always wear faster on the front than the rear. Raising the rear pressure will stiffen the sidewall and may induce oversteer

imho

i run mine at 35fr/31rr (psi ). Some run even higher on track and probably road. Not heard of anyone running 6psi difference though but i'm sure someone will correct me if i'm wrong.

40 psi front, 35 psi rear on track, gives a nice touch of oversteer on mine !

I use about the same as Dunx, anything less seems to tear the outside shoulder off the NSF particularly on abrasive surfaces. Possibly use less pressure with 888s (and/or on smooth tracks) as they have very stiff sidewalls. Also note the front of the car is a lot heavier as another reason for higher pressure. Toyo website has a guide on 888 pressures which I can't find at present, I keep a paper copy of this in my track day spares box.
