Handling wise you will feel every pebble on the road due to the lower profile tyres, you may also experience tramlining. I think you will find the 17's far nicer to drive with.

Hello again.....

Mine's on 19" rims, the max benefit would be to run a 235/35/19 tyre, however mine catch the arch when fully loded.

With a 225/35/19 tyre it should miss, but as for ride, mines perfectly acceptable, due to the STI being harsh in the first place ! Fills out the arches nicely, BUT smaller tyres are cheaper all day long. Even tho' I say they are o.k. you may find an 18" set-up cheaper and more user-friendly in the end.

P.S. I use 17" STI alloys on track, as it's usually on Blyton ( a rallyx circuit ! )
