Default Brake Judder?

Just had Rear Brake & Pads fitted but i get really bad shakes in the car when slowing down, not so bad when your going slow but worse when going a little faster

Could there be something out of balance? do they need time to bed? what if i have a buckled alloy?

Cheers

Is the judder felt through the steering wheel at all?

Things it could be are:

new discs have some run out issues (ie the mating surfaces of disc and hub may have crud between them.

Deposits on the discs themselves from the pads due to over doing it before proper bedding in has taken place.

Plus a few others I suspect.

My fronts did this for a while until they got a few more miles under them, now they are fine Mine were the doing it on the front set up though.

To answer your question about the steering issue car doesn't pull in anyway but the back end of the car shakes pretty bad, especially on firm braking from say 50mph+

Possibly, but it might be an idea to jack up the car and turn the rear wheel by hand looking carefully where the disc runs through the caliper. Look for any movement as if the disc was warped. If it does move from side to side, then it either is warped, or as I said before, the runout is too great.
