Default Removing Rotor/disk from hub!!!!! grrrr

Need to swop over my disks and they appear to be stuck fast, have removed calliper and expected the disk to come off quite easily. But they will not budge.

You dont need to remove the hub nut do you

Quick repsnse would be great as the car is on stands at the mo

No dont touch the nut ,if its the fronts your doing the disc is rusted on , give it a tap with a mallet in a few different places and it will work loose , make sure you clean the hub face up so its clean of rust and muck.

If its the rears , then the handbrake will need slackening off first

Cheers Ian

there are also 2x M8 threaded holes in the hub of the discs, simply wind two bolts in equally and it will assist removal as it pushes the disc off the hub
