Red face What is a 'pot'?

Okay, simple stupid question but can't seem to find this in the forum search. What is a 'pot' (i.e. 4 pot, 6 pot etc)

Also is there a book (eg Haynes manual) I can read up on the mechanics of the scooby? As you can tell, I'm not the most knowledgable person you can find on cars and mechanics!

A 'POT' is a brake piston, most (post 98) will have 4 pots.

Do a search on Scoobynet for workshop manuals - there are a few links.
