Question

Ok, when the movit kit arrives the calipers will, I believe, be red, which is nice. Now, the rear calipers will be black, so I'm considering maybe coloring them red as well, to match.

Anyone done this (sure someone at sussex meet has red calipers front and rear?)

Is it easy? how much does it cost, what exactly do you have to do? remove caliper?

just curious.

Your callipers arrived yesterday sir as did mine. hoping to get them fitted by bro Geoff next weekend. Richard seemed to think that you might be looking for the same day. Didn't know youve gone for the full front and rear set- nice! My GT3 caliper has been re-sprayed black with the white movit logo. Movit could always do the reverse for you if you havent ordered the rears yet.
Hope to meet you at the weekend mate. reckon the red calipers will look wicked on your stealth wagon.

Thumbs up

Markus, You can do it on the car if you have a steady hand, I did mine 18 months ago with a caliper paint kit from Halfords, made in Germany and very good. Brake Fluid proof and very durable, can't remember the cost but less than £20 , Takes about 3 hours start to finish preparation and following the instructions to the letter are the key to good finish. You may have seen them at Bentley last year.

Cool

Try a pot of heat resistant engine paint about £3 can get from most auto stores. This worked great on my old Pug 205 Gti and 306 GTi. No problems with flaking paint etc and a lot cheaper.
