Default Anyone Else...

...Ever had a grinding feeling under heavy braking feels like something it catching or is it a tell tale sign of needing brakes/pads or just pads fairly urgently? Sometimes smell a bit to.

hidden side of rear disc. needed to replace rear discs on every scoob ive bought so far.

If the discs are worn and they have a lip on the outside edge , and the pads are getting low , you will eventually get the metal backing plate of the pads rubbing on the lip , this is probably what it is.
There is also a metal spring clip which scrapes on the discs when the pads wear down letting you know they need changing.

Yep thought i was getting close to a change - woud you suggest changing both sets front and back at the same or just change the back which sound like the problem?
