New Brakes and ABS problems

New Brakes and ABS problems
Well I have fitted some new disks and pads all round, drilled and grooved, but since doing it i have created an ABS problem,
There is a clunking in the brake pedal when braking, The ABS light isnt showing, But some times the ABS light comes on and the brakes work a treat, I have visually checked the sensors and toothed wheel things, they all 'look' fine, apart from one has a small crack, but would this make a real difference? I have had the brakes and disks out to check them also and they are fine, all the shims etc are ok and in there.
Where do i go from here?

Small crack could make a difference as it will focus a magnetic field and confuse the sensor/system. Clunk could be system responding to a perceived locking wheel. When the light comes on system is disabled so brakes work without anti lock and don't clunk.
