Default PF pads on Brembo calipers

It seems the PF pads are the dogs danglies at the moment with regards to decent pads.

I intend to fit these in some Brembo calipers but I am currently using cheapish discs. I can't quite afford the PF discs atm, so am wondering if anyone has experience using just the pads on their oe set up.

I've currently got DS2500 pads up front which I'm pretty disappointed in as they are simply so inconsistent. Somedays, the inital bite is fantastic, others it's utter crap. Even when warm, they don't seem to have any real bite as such. Don't get me wrong, they do brake well, just the 'feel' is **** compared to the Mintex 1155 pads I was running on my old Subaru 4 pots (still in shed) even with a siezed piston.

Any way, rant over.

Who's got the PF pads on an otherwise oe set up and what do you reckon?

Got the gold brembo's (std discs) and PF pads on my classic wrx, they perform fantastic on the road or track, not even felt the need to change from dot4 fluid.

That's a promising start

I was suprised at how cheap (relatively) the pads are front and rear as well.

As soon as the rear brembo set up is fitted, I might look at going for a change.
