Cool Fitting Brembo on Wrx + Where where in Staffs for re-drilling?

Read a couple of threads, seems i need to make sure i have some decent bolts! ... However if i was to get some Sti Brembo's will they bolt straight on? no extra bits required? and can someone recommend where around Staffs that discs can be redrilled to 100 PCD?

cheers

Leon

I think if you get STi 330mm discs from a 2001-2005 car the PCD will be 100 same as the WRX. Only 2005 > STi's that have the different PCD (AFAIK)

Cool

Yes I was discussing this earlier with some friends and that was mentioned... The ones i have seen are off a later 05 tho :-( ! typical. But i will bear that in mind as thats one less thing to worry about.

Do you know if the calipers just bolt on? ie holes in same place etc? ( i believe the longer bolts are required) and if i was getting rears to is the handbrake the same?

cheers

The front brakes wil bolt straight on with the correct PCD discs , if you have the later discs , then any good engineering place could re-drill them , I do it but am miles away from you , you could send them to me to do , but it would add about £25 to the cost in carriage alone. I could also groove them for you which would make it worth your while.

The rear brakes will bolt straight on with the rear fitting kit and thicker handbrake shoes I make , its also a very simple kit to fit

Cheers Ian

Sounds promising.. how much are the larger handbrake shoes and fitting kit? At least the fronts go straight on so I could get them from someone.. plenty for sale at the moment.

cheers
