EBC Turbo Disks fitted. What Pads next????

Have got Reds on at the moment. Any one had better results using another pad. I cant fit anything that will "Screetch"!!!. Bit concerned about this rumour that EBC just buy in pads....
No track days just the odd bit of hard use. Car is Legacy uk turbo estate.
What are these American pads I once readabout?????
