Default Steering wheel shake and spacers?

Hi all,i have fitted a set of larger brakes that required the fitment of 5mm spacers on the front. Since fitting, the steering wheel shakes at 60mph. Strange thing is at a steady speed, the shaking comes and goes? Will hubcentric spacers cure this? I don't really want to change my wheels as i like them!

Thanks,Mit

Interesting..........My wife recently complained of this in our Xantia.

Turned out to be the REAR tyres gone oval

A new set, and it's gone

Yes hub centric will cure the issue. Its nearly impossible to center the wheels properly without one.
