Correct location of Shims in Subaru 4 pot calipers

Default Correct location of Shims in Subaru 4 pot calipers

Hi guys, refurbished some 4 pots new pads and disks shims etc, but can't remember how i took the old ones out,

anyone got an exploded view please??

Start threading the parallel bars through the caliper, put on the shims first (to go in between the pistons and the pads) then the pads, obviously facing each other, then the final shim, spread the pads apart and put on the anti vibration clip, then finsh by placing the split pins in the parallel bars.

Use copper grease on the shims.

Thats pretty much it i think?

it's the smaller ones which have one pin go through them that have me confused
