my97 turbo wheels
#1
Just bought MY97 imp turbo with 15inch standard alloys. Been offered brand new 02WRX bridgestone wheels with 17inch WRX alloys for £600?? - not used, owner of WRX replaced with 18inch oz alloys when his WRX arrived with the dealer.
1.Is this a good deal???
2.Will the new 215x45x17 wheels suit/change the road handling of my scooby.
3.Are my old wheels worth anything?
Urgent advice is needed as the guy is advertising them on Tuesday(5th feb) I need to buy by monday night....

1/ Sounds a reasonable deal
2/ 17" Tyres for a MY97 should ideally be 205/45 or 215/40. 215/45 will alter the rolling radius. However, I believe other people have fitted this size to pre MY01 cars - try looking through previous posts.
3/ I got £130 for my 15" wheels/tyres after advertising them in the Auto Trader.
Cheers,
Ian.
P.S. I have a spare brand new set of 16" MY00 Gold 6 spoke wheels with new Bridgestone RE010 205/50 tyres - email me if interested.
