Default 18" wheels and new suspension?

Just had a set of 18" inovit tarmac race fitted to my 2000 classic. Now on a previous scooby they fitted ok and only rubbed when I had a larger person in the back which was bearable because its rare I have passengers in the rear... least til the babys due in september anyway! ..So off I went and spent a fortune on getting some more, got them fitted today and they are on but rub on roundabouts and squeel over bumps and hard acceleration. The garages answer was for me to upgrade my suspension to fully adjustable at the estimated cost of £600 parts only. The car already sits low as previous owner fitted Tein springs, is there any other solution?? Thanks and glad to be back on SN!
