Brake squeal is caused by vibration between the brake pads, discs, and brake.but sometimes its the pad/disc combination, mintex do usually squeal at low speed, putting the copper ease on the bk of the pad will help this but may not 100% cure it

A tip I was given on here and have since recommended is to chamfer the front leading edge off of the pad. This is to reduce the 'grab' on the pad when braking a low speeds. Its quite easy to do and worked for me.
