had loads of black diamond n predator pads on my old bmws (200-300bhp) and when i bought my subaru its already had redstuff and ebc discs all round, they good condition but are rubbish at braking even when i warm up the brakes first.......... il be changing the brakes lines to ss to see if that improves it to a suitable state if not they are coming off.

standard disks and Redstuff
I swapped my wheels around again today to even out the tyre wear, and was disgusted to find that my Redstuff ceramics have destroyed the discs to 22.2mm in about 10K miles. The rears are ok but starting to rust from the edges of the discs again.
This is the problem that the original redstuffs had.
They are just about ok for road use as far as i'm concerned but i think i will try another make of pad, didn't really enjoy ds2500's on the standard 4 pots either.

i use Mintex 1155's with standard disks on the front - standard drums on the rear (it's a sport).
brilliant pads - a bit dirty though.
hope it helps
