Does anyone run this combo on their classic. I've just bought my classic wrx with these wheels on and they are catching on the arches. Tyre size is 225/45. The arch lip has already been bent up a bit, could probably go a little further if need be

ive jus put 2003 rims on my 93 classic, there are 215/45/17 and dont rub the arches!

Maybe see if you can drop tyre width bud

I've just put bug eye WRX 17" rims on my classic and they rub. They have 215/45/17 F1's. They rub on the front outer arch and rear (although I can't see where at the moment). All thats with standard factory suspension. Buying 205/45/17 soon.

Although I've spoke to some people who run the same wheel set up as me with no problems?!?
