As above! Would they be too big for the 7J rim?
What do you think?
Standard 03 WRX OEM 17" 7J wheel.

Some sites provide data and will show that ideally they should be on a 7.5" rim.... However that doesn't mean you can't fit them to a 7" rim or equally an 8" rim.... can't find a good site, but Demon Tweeks catalogue used to specify the range to fit....

P.S. obviously in sets of four....

They will fit (and are within recommended tolerance iirc), however it just depends how they look. Especially if you go for the GY asymmetric, which seem to come up wider..! They could look a bit 'balloony' IYSWIM.
I'm sure there are plenty of people running 225's on a 7J, so pics would be a big help..

I find it's better to stretch a narrow tyre onto a 1/2 inch wider rim...
Euro-mod boys fit huge width rims and look very silly with narrow tyres.
IMHO

P.S. I have 235 and 215 tyres on 8" rims 235 look right, 215 look stretched but work o.k.
