Default what discs?

Hi Y'All,

My brakes are in need of replacing fairly soon (pads are going and was warned at my last service discs will need doing at next service) and rather than replace them with the standard discs and pads I was wondering what the recommendations are for replacing them with something more useful.

I have an MY03 WRX with 18" alloys. I want to uprate the brakes using parts that will be a straight replacement for the existing Subaru standard stuff and have a budget of about £600.
Anyone any suggestions for what to replace them with (discs & pads) and a reputable place in the Berkshire area to get them done?

Recommendations for a good alloy wheel refurbisher wouldn't go amiss either (never buying gun-metal again!)

Ta,
muppet

Actually Ian, will the prodrive replacements that's ongoing as a group buy do the job? Interested in them as it gives me a bit to spare so I can replace the rear discs eventually!

To use the Prodrive discs we are offering , you also need the Prodrive 4 pot calipers to go with them , the only larger kit we make for the Subaru 4 pots is the 335mm kit.

Ian,

Been looking at this kit but not sure if it will fit under my standard 17" MY06 WRX wheel's, do you know if they will or is there a way I can measure to see if they would go on ok.

Thanks,
