Default Evo 7 brembos

Hi all, new to the forum just bought a 2001 WRX to replace my Fiat coupe 20VT.

I was wondering if the brembos off the Mitsubishi EVO 7 bolt straight on my car, as an online brakes company lists the 2 cars as having the same part number for the brembos as well as the pads?

Thanks Iain.

PS great forum

The only real way of checking is to get the measurements for the bolt holes i.e how far apart they are and then the distance from the inside of the caliper to the bolt hole.

Visually they might look the same but you will find there are mm differences which wouldn't allow the calipers to fit (I am pretty sure more folks would have done this conversion if it worked).

I have heard 300ZX Brembo's are supposed to be a direct fit to scoobies but not been able to confirm this (some chap on North American Subaru Impreza Owners Club site had done such a conversion).

The pads are the same with both calipers , as are the pistons and seal kits , but the calipers are different , the bolt spacings are different , so the EVO calipers will not fit an Impreza.
Cheers Ian
