Default Anyone running Carbone Lorraine pads?

Looking for pads for a blob eye WRX for road use and Ian Godney has recommended these as oppose to the usual DS2500s. They're also £25 a set cheaper, so a plus there.

Had a Google for them and most references are for bikes, with a couple of mentions of track day usage in Loti (I assume that's the plural). Has anyone used them on a car as heavy as a modern Scooby and if so, what were they like for road use, how long did they last etc?

I believe they may squeal a bit, but not worried about that as long as they'll stop the car and last longer than one trip to the shops. Never going to do a track day or rally stage, so they don't need to stand up to that sort of punishment, just stop me at the bottom of a motorway slip road (which the current OEM ones don't anymore
