Godspeed 335 - New Discs and Pads $$
I need to try and get hold of Ian, Anyone know how much he charges for replacement discs and pads (reds) ?
A small fortune no doubt . . . Or if there's any alternative suppliers of discs in this size ?
A quick search has'nt turned much up.
Matt

Woooah . . . I hardly use the car, Just whipped a wheel off and the calipers are looking very sore indeed.
There is a split in the piston seal on the outside of the caliper and the pots on the inside look pretty rusty to me !
If I get the recon calipers Ian am I going to need new discs (assume ill need new pads anyhow right?) with them? Or will the discs face back up with a bit of use, they ve prob only done about 8k miles.
Cheers

HI Matt
You can clean the discs up with emery cloth to start to clean them if they are bad , if not , they will clean while being used. If the discs are not warped they should be fine after the rust has gone
I would fit Ferodo DS2500's before fitting reds , they are much better.
I can offer you caliper reconditioning , I fit stainless steel pistons so they dont rust from then onwards
Cheers Ian
