Default 215/45/17 tyres on a 17" P1 wheel???

Hi guys just a quick question before I order tyres...

Basically, will a 215 wide tyre fit the P1 wheels. The tyres that are currently on it are 205/45/17.

Thanks to anyone that can help. Asked this question a while ago but I wasnt really specific about the type of wheels, so I just want to quickly double check.

If you are wanting 215s then you need 2 go for 215/40/17 size tyres and they will fit with no problems.

215/45's will fit .... but to keep the rolling circumference and hence speedo as close to accurate as possible you want the 215/40's as allready said (or 205/45's which is what prodrive fit as standard to classics of course )

Ok thanks. I've just ordered Goodyear eagle F1 GSD 3's in 215/40/17.

Thought I would post an update...

Have just had goodyears fitted and cannot believe the difference in the way the car feels...just shows you how sh*te budget tyres like falkens really are! Alignment is miles out though so i'm keepin the car off the road till the weekend when I can get that done.
