Non Scooby Alloy / Tyres Question
#1
Can anyone give me some information.
Have acquired a set of Fox 6's 16" Rims With Falken 205*50*16 87v
for a really silly price,
The car in question these have to go on is a tight fit.
Have checked a web site and they reccomend a tyre of 195 * 45 * 16
What does this mean. At the moment I reckon the wheels will fit but there might be a rub on wheel arch , 2 of the tyres are knackered and 2 are pretty new, so 2 new's are required
can anybody help me with this , need the answer in "stupid" terms as i have to explain this to somebody else

Have a look at this, it calculates the difference in radius/diameter and speedo readings for different tyre sizes...
