Smile Front brakes on the Rear?!

OK I am prob missing something here! but... if I was to change the front setup to say a K Sport or Brembo etc ... what about those calipers I take off... can I put these on the back to upgrade the back?

Just a thought and wondered why nobody seems to do this!

also are there any recommendations for discs and pads on the standard setup, I have had DS2500 in the past so am thinking of those for the pads but if I don’t upgrade calipers what about discs? Standard Subaru with the above pads or is it worth changing to say Tarox or the like?

Cheers

Leon

PS 2005 Wrx. (but not the red calipers)

Hand brake mechanism is integral to the rear disc.

If someone did the brackets, it could be done, may need a two part disc like the AP four pot rear kit I (would like !) have seen on Scoobymania's site !

The AP rear kit doesn't use a 2 piece disc. It's a bigger diameter but still a one piece disc with integral handbrake drum in the bell in the same way as the standard one.
