People rave about the Toyo's i personally did not rate them, i had the T1-S, i have heard the T1-R's are a lot better though.

what about Eagle F1's (with the hard sidewall) i've heard good things about them also.

Yes, they would be my first choice by far... I had them on my old 16" wheels and they were great

Sadly I can't find any Goodyear Eagle F1's to fit my 18"s.
I've got fullrun tyres on there at the moment as the wheels came with them, but they are deadly in the wet!!! Stay well clear!

I'm after 215/35/18

Can't find them anywhere

Thanks

Default T1Rs from Birmingham Motor Tyre Limited

Toyo 215/40 R17 T1Rs purchased 18-04-2007 were £73.50 each (£294.00 for 4) + £12.00 per tyre racing tyre buffing = £401.85 fitted.

Excellent tyre.

Same here on Fullruns, came with 17" wheels. Budget and a bit cheaper. Tyres are worth spending the money on.

I had T1-s last time round and found them ok, bit soft on the sidewall but held in pretty good.

Changed the wheels and tyres 6 months ago and decided to go for T1-R's this time and to be honest i'm not impressed with them at all, low speed grip is terrible, resulting in hand fulls of lock and understeer entering roundabouts, which is not a lot better at speed, i realise the roads are slippery this time of year but they just aint what i was expecting.

I find the T1-S tyres ok in 215/35/18 form. Can quite easily hold a 4 wheel drift in my sti 3 (standard suspension).
Only problem is they are a bit 'different' when cold, but that could be said for many tyre brands.

The 'R's are meant to have a stronger sidewall and in
relation to this there is a slightly different tread configuration -
the tread doesn't continue all the way to the shoulder.
Have T1-R's myself, they're pretty good.
Camskill : 4 x 225/45/17 = £77 each few months back.
