BUYING NEW F1s FOR GOLD STI BUGEYE WHEELS, AT MOMENT THEY ARE REO 40 225/45/17. wOULD 215/45/17 BE OK OR STAY WITH 225/45/17,glad of info before i buy.DES.

 

Hi, my car - wrx bugeye (morette conversion though!) came with those wheels on and potenza 225/45/17 tyres, sure that the normal wrx tyre size was 215/45/17 so i would stick with the wider tyre, surely its gotta give you more grip.

yes i think i'll stay with 225/45/17 and hope F1s are better than potenzas for grip, i also had tramlining with potenzas.Incidentally i have morrette conversion how do you like dip beam, mine seems poor(see my thread on lighting section)CHEERS.
