Hi folks,
Can anyone tell me how to adjust the handbrake on a scoob ? MOT's due soon so I need to do it right. Car's a 94 WRX/

Yes I would also like to know this. My lever seems to be a bit high.

On the MY01 (may be the same on older models) if you look from inside the car were the handbrake lever disapears into the centre console move the rubber gator over and the adjustment nut is an 8mm nut on the passenger side of the handbrake.You can get it with a long reach socket.

On pre-01 cars the adjustment nuts are in the same place though you may need to remove the rear part of the centre consol to get at it.
With the consol bit removed Lift the rubber gaitor and you will see it!!!!

NOTE: Make sure the handbrake is off before trying to adjust it.

Adjust it so that it feels comfortable when you pull it up (About 3/4 clicks)

according to my user manual it should be 8-9 clicks. It tells you how to check it and bed in new shoes too.
