Chaps..

I have a STI 4, recently the front brakes have been grinding and the car shaking a little under braking (I have the brembo 4pot u/g). Now the ABS light is on all the time..

Is this the sign of the pads wearing right down and the discs slightly warping ??

Sounds like your brakes are grinding which will scratch the disks unless you get the pads replaced ASAP. Disks usually only warp under extreme braking (i.e. when they get too hot) which may also have happened and be contributing to the problem, but less likely than just the pads giving up.
