Question

Need some info.

Oz Super T alloys

How many different versions are here ?
Whats is the evo version ?
Where there sets to fits over 2 and 4 pots ?
Are there any different flavours of gold ?

Reason being that somebody pranged the car and and smashed up two alloys and I need to be sure on the colour etc of the replacements.

Any info would be useful.

Thanks in advance.

Dave.

special versions for the impreza are called evolutions.

They are only available in gold and are different in design from super ts available for normal cars. They have one less spoke and the spokes and central hub are flatter in profile, with the bolt holes being cut from a flat disk.

Normal super ts are difficult to source in the correct stud pattern, and impossible to source in the correct offset. Their offset is 35 which is almost 2cm off, good luck. They are only available in silver, unless you want to source the group N race wheels which are only available in gold and are very expensive.

I know this, cos I made the mistake of buying super t evolutions on my wrx and was very dissapointed with them.

I almost bought the 17 inch rally versions for my 22B (same as tim w has) but was lucky enough to source 18s now in gold.

I will take a picture one day and post it. You really need o see them side by side to appreicate that they are a very different looking wheel.

Or, most importantly, IIRC the super T evo went out of production a year or so ago, so you won't get any new ones.

Dave
If I remember, they weren't an official UK import (the only reason I know all this is because I hunted around for a set a year ago with no luck)

dave, they were an official wheel. I hunted them down and was succesful in getting one about a year ago.

They arent very nice to be honest in the evloution design so i would loo for something else anyway assuming you havent seen the evo versions.

They WERE freely available (until discontinued) but again IIRC were not actually imported via the official UK importer (I rang and asked them at the time).

Thx Chaps,

Situation is now that the gold oz super t's are readily available in the UK. There is an new stock code for them.

So I can now return the car to as it was before the accident with a set of matching alloys.

Hi Dave

There is a place near me that do OZ as well. I think that might be called Motorsport Wheels as well.

Drop me a mail if you want me to find a number for them or enquire on your behalf.

Cheers M8

Should be sorted now. Motorsport are the oz distributors but the insurance have agreed to buy 4.
