What offset Is Needed
Hi Ive got a MY97 WRX STI (Import) just found out the wheels are incorrect for my car they are meant to be for a newerage scoobie. So I need to replace all wheels.
I'm looking at 17" but what offset is correct for my Classic. I'm looking at putting 215/45 tyres onto them.

hi mate i've also an sti v3, PCD 5X100, ET 45.
forget 215/45 2.248% slower so your tacho will show 97.8mph instead of 100mph. 205/45 best suited, also prodrive recommendation
cheers

Well originally the car had mudflaps so when I was making turns the tyres was making contact with the mudflaps. So took them of. Still the wheels made a noise upon turning.
When car went into garage they said the rear tyres was making contact with the struts. They had a look at what sizes I needed and apparently th tyre size is right but the offset is wrong.
