Would someone tell me:

If you brake hard with cold tyres, brakes etc does the ABS cut in harder?

As under progressive, yet firm braking I don't have any problems...Though when I stamp on the pedal...what a noise, I stop though the ABS seems to be very noisy.

Is this usual????

If you got fast road pads they will need a bit of warming up to get the best out of them, so when their cold the pad does'nt work too well when pressed hard and will tend to lock-up instead of stop.

I had this on my old set-up, a couple of firm prods should do the trick

Scott,Spot on I have got fast road pads!! & yes once they are warmed up excellent.

Hay people are gonna talk its kind of a mutual appreciation society......now where can I get those stickers from ....the ones that everyone sticks in their pages, except me cos i don't know how......argggghhhhhh
