STI VII BRAKING PROBLEMS ?

I don't know if you have heard something about braking probs with the new STI, but french motorsport revues all complaints about that, saying that it's the only problem they found but very important...
Have you experienced that and what do you expect to do ?
For myself, at the time I will have the STI, I will mount metal hoses and change l brake fluid. For which one ? Is Dot 5 the best ? Someones say that Dot 4 is better....
About the pads that looks to be too hard, what sort will be the best on the Brembos for allround use ?
