'02 Outback and which tires
I am in need of replacing my tires and want an all season tire that will have a good balance of handling well and providing good snow/rain traction. I use the car for both city and highway driving (more city, than highway), and am not 'hard' on the car. In trying to research this I have found the Continental ContiExtreme Contact 97H ($608 installed) as one that appears to have good reviews. The salesman was trying to tell me that this is not the best tire for the price...he was trying to encourage me to get the Firestone Firehawk GT ($99/tire)...but I've not heard much about this tire. He had also mentioned the Goodyear FI. Anyone have some good suggestions as I am out of my element. I also would like to avoid a 'noisy' tire. Thanks.

Goodyear GSD3 F1's are not all weather tyres but summer tyres.
Out of personal use I like the Toyo's 950 Snowprox, think there might be a new one out to replace this now.
