Default falken tyres any good??

hi, currently got toyo proxes on my 17 inch prodive wheels (same as p1) all round on my w reg uk turbo 2000. I am due for 3 possibly 4 new tyres at £95 a tyre if i go for toyos again. Although i have been offered falken tyres at £75 a tyre??? just wondred if anyone had these tyres and if they were worth having or should i stick to toyos or perhaps try another make??

215/45/17 by the way

cheers steve

Had a set on my classic, and a new set on my bug. For me they are a good all round tyre, wear well and had no problems, they also have a good thick bead around side wall to help protect the rim from minor kerb rubs.

I use them as my track tyres, (452s) and they are very preogressive when they give, very good with standing water and when my day to day tyres expire I will get some Falkens for the road too.

It's "just" the height of the sidewall.

Get mine from Camskill too, can't find them any cheaper anywhere. And I have tried!!

Talking of Camskill, they are doing Goodyear F1 GSD3's for £79 - with the high load sidewalls too in your size. way better than the Toyos or Falkens and will be my next choice unless the asymetricals are available in that size by then
