Not too much work but you will need wheels that clear the calipers or you could user wheel spacers like i have done, view my scooby forp ics.

Another local option is to give Andy a call at Ace Motorsport in Newbridge as he can fit them for you to
His mobile is 07866736878 leave a message is he does not answer as he's a busy man these days.
The fronts are a direct replacement and the rears require a bracket and enlarged shoes disc size dependant.

Cheers

RB5 boyo , the front STi brembo's and 326mm discs will fit straight onto your car , if you get the discs of an MY05 onwards car , the PCD of the wheel bolts are wrong and the discs will need drilling to suit your discs pattern of 5 x 100 ,
the rear STi brembo's and 316mm discs needs a fitting kit and thicker handbrake shoes like the kit I make , once you got the fitting kit the rear kit again the brakes will bolt straight on.

The rear kit will fit behind your wheels , the fronts will NOT , The front discs dont have much offset , so the calipers are too close to the spokes and will foul on them. The Brembo and AP caliper kits I make have more offsets on the bells which takes the discs and calipers further inwards which gives more clearance in the spokes , these kits would fit inside your wheels.

The 335mm x 32mm disc kit I make for the standard calipers again will fit inside your wheels , and will work better than the STi brembo set up , a larger disc will always give more braking power , and with the discs being thicker they will take more heat.

If you want any further advise please ring me on 01656 723060 or email to ian@godspeedbrakes.co.uk

Hope this helps
Cheers Ian

yes the godspeed 335mm Kit is better because you have a greater diameter of your brake caliper!
But I think it's only good for road use not for track..

If you put suitable track pads in they work great on the track , I have quite a few of these kits fitted to tarmac rally car with no problems .

The gold brembo caliper is very big compared to the standard subaru 4 pot from this i think the brembo is the better caliper and option.

Am i right as im not sure now because the 335 kit has been said to be better.

RB5 boyo , if you havent long had the calipers done then you may as well use them , they are a good caliper , its just as standard they are on a too small a disc , putting on the 335mm kit puts this right.
The 335mm kit I make uses a bigger pad than a standard shape pad , that along with the larger diameter and thicker disc will make a big difference over the discs and pads you have now.
The 335mm kit complete with ferodo DS2500 pads is £625.

If you are looking at changing the rear discs and calipers , you dont have to fit the type R ones , its an easier job to fit the bugeye ones , they use the same caliper , and same size disc , but the type R uses a larger handbrake so you would have to fit the special shoes we supply. You dont need the shoes when fitting the bugeye discs.

I can supply you 290mm grooved rear discs , reconditioned subaru 2 pot calipers , mounting brackets and pads , it would be a complete bolt on kit for the rear ,

I can supply you the complete rear kit , and the 335mm front kit , including delivery to northern Ireland for £1000 all in.

Hope this helps

Cheers Ian
