Goodyear Eagle F1's. Sloppy when new??
i just had fitted 2 new eagle F1's and had them put on the rear of the car. i just drove it back now and they seem sloppy as if they havent got much pressure in them, when you go around corners or kick the car from side to side. car doesnt seem planted to the ground.
is this because they are new and they need time to settle in?
any help would be great.

Thats great thanks for that. i have checked them both now, they seem ok with what is described on there, all e marks and they say made in germany on them too.
has anyone had the rears changed and have them feel a bit like this?
if not i will drive about a bit , and check the presures on monday then see if they are ok.
does anyone know the right presure fro the eagle F1's 225/40/18?

they will prob need scrubbing in for a few hundred miles, as above tyre pressure makes a difference i run 31 in the front and 34 in the rear. i just had 4 new tyres on and the pressures where all set at 30 which the garage prob thought they where doing me a favour, i'd also get your own tyre pressure gauge coz some petrol stns are not very accurate in my experience

Thanks for the reply guys.
I will give them a few miles to see if they scrub in and i will go check the pressure of them today some time just to make sure the garage put the right ammount in them.

ive managed to do a hundred miles or so now and they do feel better.
i checked the pressures and the new rears both had 43psi in them and the fronts had 33psi in them, i know they should have more in them but is 43 a bit too much?
what have you guys got in yours? 225/40/18
