brakes are terrible
my car (see<<) is the worst car ive ever had when it comes to braking, there just seems to be nothing there, there is resistance against the pedal but press it like a normal car very little happens, press it too hard they just lock,i know it has no abs but surely it should be better than it is,garage said everything looks fine and it passed the mot test ok it has standard subaru disks pads and callipers done 4k ago so should be bedded in by now but there is no confidence when pushing the car and its not just me that says it,never driven another impreza so dont know if thats just the way they are

You're lucky my UK car (1997) had it's brakes replaced under warranty every 14000 miles.
As the discs were like crazy paving.... pads were fine tho'
Don't know if you just need a "modern" up-date to match newer cars you've driven. My 02 Sti stops like crazy compared to my classic, which is just as well given how heavy it is....
Dunx
P.S. DS2500, and up-rated discs maybe, (dusty tho')
