my tyres are just starting to be on the legal limit and was wondering what you guy think is the best tyre?

i got bridgestone potenza's on it at the moment...

my car is a 05 wrx sti

Just fitted 4 new Toyo T1S Proxes and is like driving a new car. able to take corners in the wet now

I have used Toyo Proxies T1R and they are about to be replaced again with the same models. I got about 11k miles from them, which for a soft tyre is pretty good. I have used these tyres on both my Subaru and my Honda before it and they are excellent in the wet and dry.

I do not like Bridgestone one bit give terrible grip in the wet.

I also hear very good reports from people about the Goodyears Eagle F1's.

I drive an 06 STi and have have tried the Potenza's (they came on the car) great in the dry but awful in the wet. Went onto Toyo's, great grip when new but after about 2500 miles it was like driving on marbles!! Toyo's worked well on the classic but not on newage, maybe the weight difference, don't know.

All my research has pointed me to Eagle F1's, the extra load tyre - stronger sidewalls so less prone to scrubbing on outer edges. Having 4 fitted on Friday

I'm near Burton so if you know somewhere cheap in the area let me know

I have Yokohama Parada Spec 2s on MY03 STi and they are very sure footed in the dry, they are very good in the wet and very predictable even when pushed. Had them on my classic previously, cant fault them.Seem to last well aswell.

just replaced my front two with the originals RE070 and they feel spot on and for some reason seem to have a wider groove in the middle than the originals...look great too

I got the T1R's after using the F1's and i don't like the toyo at all. Like above ,they feel like driving on marbles and felt even worse for the first few hundered miles. Thought about going back to the F1's but i might try something else thsi time round.
