Porsche dont drill their disks. the holes are cast as part of the disc manafacture- hence no cracking

I bought a set of drilled/grooved Black Diamond, and have had a problem with them. Managed to get them to fade with 1155 pads as well, so have been giving them some stick. No sign of cracking.

Darren.

Got mine (grooved) from scoobymania 15 months ago and they have been fine.

Try their website.

PS. I went for grooved rather than drilled after reading stories about how the holes can be a weak point (not especially with BD disks but in general - although that doesn't appear to stop Porsche using drilled disks!)

I found the BD grooved disks a bit too noisy though for road use. They 'may' be better on track they look great but overall I would probably stick with plain ones next time.

PS2. Yes they work well with the OEM calipers.

Thumbs up

Cast holes! I stand corrected. Thank you.
