Default Squeaky Brakes - 02 STi

Guys looking for some help,

Got a 02 STi with EBC red stuffs that have done about 3000 miles, brakes were fine.

Car has been of the road for about 2 months and since getting it back the brakes a squeaky like crazy.

Car still stops well, its driving me mad though and its also embarassing

Is there anything I can do to fix or do I need new pads?

Thanks for any advice.

Sounds like they need a good few sessions of heavy braking fella.

Sounds like the pad face face has glazed up a little.

Andy's right, do a strip down, clean all the pad mounting points, fit new anti squeal shims (Mintex do decent rubber ones) or refit the OE Steel ones, then re-bed them, should sort it.
