Default brake refurb

hello

I am a new member to the site and I`m after a bit of help

can anyone tell me where I can get a repair or service kit for my brake callipers ?

my car is a 99 uk spec impreza

also after full fitting kit for bads (all pins, clips etc.)

Your local Subaru dealer should be able to help you out, or if your local dealer is like mine and can't be bothered to phone you back, then Cheam Subaru do an excellent mail order service. Jim Childs is the man to contact.

I know what you mean !!

since the post I got in touch with Mike Jones at The Quality Factor who was very helpful

getting the service kits and pads off him

Unfortunately pins and clips are main dealer only and not cheep

Not much goes wrong with pins or clips, so may well not need replacing.

Why dont you remove you calipers and discs while they are off, sand them down, spray them with VHT paint and then spray them with VHT Laquar, i have just finished mine, took me a week or so, but very happy with the result! i have stuck some braided lines on and upgraded my break fluid while i was at it aswell
Dont forget to put some copper grease behind your pads and stuff.

Try here Biggred brake calipers for Saxo, Punto, Fiesta, Nova, Astra, 106, 206, Mini, BMW and more....

I got mine from the dealer, they were cheap, front and rear, new rubbers, clips and some pink fluid in sachets, still havent got round to fitting them yet either, or my braided lines, dont even know where they are now lol
